Brighton Nudist Beach

Today was my first time naked on a U.K. beach and it felt really good. I realise it was probably the best weather of the year, but I couldn’t believe just how busy it was. I never expected that there would be so many naked people and even as a nervous newbie I felt quite comfortable.
I will definitely revisit this beach.

Is this a good topic?:

Out of interest, was it

Out of interest, was it mainly single guys or a decent mixture?

On beaches I've found its mostly 50yo plus males about 20% female. Is it something to do with body confidents.

It was predominately male,

It was predominately male, some as a couples and single. A good number of female/male couples one or two families and a few single females. Single males clearly in majority.

Last week a friend sent a 20

Last week a friend sent a 20 second video of me on that beach from 1991. I think it was the last time I went there!

It's nice out today - I think I'll leave it out

My girlfriend used to go solo

My girlfriend used to go solo to beaches. She got a lot of attention, which wasn't always welcomed. Having said that, she also liked to look...

If you travel by public

If you travel by public transport it is a fair walk from Brighton station, 25 minutes quick walk or a bus to Brighton Marina and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

If you are driving, park your car in the Brighton Marina multi storey car park (free parking), as you enter the marina keep right and take the top floor entrance to parking. Drop down to level 3 and then take steps on the Asda side, follow the path away from Asda. Keep walking back towards Brighton pier and you will see a high bank of shingle and a sign for the nudist beach. To avoid going too far you could access the beach as soon as you see it and keep walking until you find naked people Ha Ha! Take food and drink as there is very little close by, enjoy.

Hello late- just stumbled

Hello late- just stumbled across your item on Brighton; I have going there for several summers now, I usually catch a 12 or 27 bus to Dukes Mound, almost opposite the steep pathway to the lower road; access directly onto the naturist beach is by gates over the Volks railway. Various storms have formed pebble terraces over the years with a man-made ridge at the rear to protect the textiles from our unashamed nakedness! The occasional instance of intimacy but usually discrete and at the rear. The ‘lurkers’ are often there, usually middle-aged men but usually lose interest after a while. Earlier comments on male/female are about right. Behaviour is generally quite good. Hope this helps-see you there? OldieJock
