A Walk in England

Back to Index

Whilst many were concerned with their work and possibly, to them, the state of English cricket on the first day of the final test or the disastrous football results, some of us travelled far to enjoy naturism in that other great english icon - the countryside.
Our band of more thatn a dozen arrived from many corners into the car park of what would be the walks final destination.
Duly assembled we wandered a mere 400m into the countryside before disrobing (not that we started with much) and setting forth along public rights of way through coppiced and more mature woodland. The whole walk was conducted at a leisurely pace, the object being exposure to the airand countryside and not a route march. We enjoyed a picnic lunch in a large glade of the forest, views of the Medway bridges and rolling countryside, friendly chat punctuated with humour and a welcome rest before completing our 8 mile walk back at the car park for a cool drink and pleasant evening meal together and setting off relaxed and refreshed for home.

Oh, and we only saw one person on our route the whole day who was more amused than shocked. Her dog looked very puzzled!

We only have two walks left - now I am praying harder for good weather than the australian cricket fans.

In The Buff is a community site, which aims to promote the naturist cause. Members are a friendly community of natursts, that enjoy practising naturism either at home, on the beach, on holiday, or anywhere the fancy takes them. They may have been naturists for a week, a year, or their whole life. What brings all the naturists here together is the fun and friendship.
