I started this question as a blogg? Perhaps it is better positioned in the forum.
Looking at the new members in the last fortnight we see that of the 20 or so new or returning members, just one has chosen to pay a donation of £7.00 to help run the site.
Someone suggested that all the others are 'trying before buying', fair enough. How long will they keep 'trying', 1 or 12 months or longer?.
Nothing like a 'Free Lunch' but then someone has to pick up the bill for Bandwidth charges and other costs.
We know things are tight with the recession, but would it be reasonable to limit the trying period to maybe a specified period. Much Shareware software is limited to a 30 day trial period. The site could be generous and say those not wishing to put £7.00 in the pot in the early days, are allowed say 3 months before making that big financial decision.
Of course, a cynical view could be that some of the Non-Subcribers are just Cruisers and Surfers looking for some bare flesh?
Of course, perhaps we have got the idea of paying for something you value all wrong?

In The Buff is a community site, which aims to promote the naturist cause. Members are a friendly community of natursts, that enjoy practising naturism either at home, on the beach, on holiday, or anywhere the fancy takes them. They may have been naturists for a week, a year, or their whole life. What brings all the naturists here together is the fun and friendship.
