I have just returned from my yearly visit to Pert, Australia. I visit my son and his family but manage to visit the local naturist beaches and non- naturist beaches in the area. These are known as 'free' beaches. In Perth there are 2 official free beaches. The first is Swanbourne which I went to last year and is very good. Gentle sloping white sand into a clear sea. Backed by dunes which in turn back onto a military installation. It is fairly near Perth city centre and is well served by roads with free parking, free electric b-b-q's and nearby cafe.
This year I went to Warnbro between South Perth and Mandurah because my family have moved into the southern suburbs. It takes about 30 minutes from central Perth to Warnbro beach. It is fine white sand, gentle sloping with crystal clear water but no shark watch or life guards. Backed by gentle sand dunes and a golf course, there are 2 sections to this beach. The right hand one is textile and the left is naturist and is clearly sign posted. It is less than 5 minutes walk from the car park. There are no facilities on this beach, but I found it less crowded and more natural than Swanbourne.
If you are going Perth way, its a defo visit beach. Look it up on Google Earth for directions and pics.
I also went further north from Perth and visited several deserted beaches where a quick strip and dip cooled me down from the mid thirties heat. Green Head is one of the great ones - also Seabird.
All in all, its a wonderful part of the world.

In The Buff is a community site, which aims to promote the naturist cause. Members are a friendly community of natursts, that enjoy practising naturism either at home, on the beach, on holiday, or anywhere the fancy takes them. They may have been naturists for a week, a year, or their whole life. What brings all the naturists here together is the fun and friendship.
