There are plenty of debates about shaving, body piercings and tattoos. And, no, I don't want to go there and open up another lengthy thread! (PLEASE!)
However, whilst shaving does seem to be of interest to some folk, I wondered about the opposite 'extreme' - someone with 'more' pubic hair than normal, rather than less. Has anyone come across someone wearing a merkin?
Would this be considered exhibitionism? Some merkins have very fancy designs, and are clearly not just a substitute for a lack of pubic hair.
However, maybe some folk turn to more natural looking merkins when they feel they have less pubic hair than they would like?

A merkin (first use, according to the OED, 1617) is a pubic wig.
