2008 is almost here
2007 nearly gone
With good wishes of seasonal cheer
And memories to dwell upon
Next year can only be better
We hear some people say
Surely summer can’t be any wetter
Or the skies be any more grey
The naturist’s life is not an easy one
If in England they dwell
Would be nice if we could follow the sun
And bid these shores farewell
Unfortunately most of us need to stay
And work and slave and graft
‘Cos we all have bills to pay
And we need to clear that overdraft
The shortest day has come and gone
The days now getting longer
Morning frosts still adorn the lawn
Soon the sunshine will be getting stronger
Well, here’s to 2008
We raise a glass or two
We have to await our fate
But I hope all goes well for me and you.
