Subject: Cheeky request!
Hi Guys,
A bit of a 'cheeky' request...
As you may well have heard, the smoking is to be banned in public places as of the July 1st. Whether you think the ban is a good idea or a bad one, the consequence will be to push smokers outside, with the knock on effect of cigarette butts being stamped out outside, which is one shortcut to our beaches (via storm drains etc.). Sadly, the filters take many years to degrade and by their very nature harbour some horrible chemicals. MCS is worried that our beaches and seas will become one big ashtray if people aren't made aware of this, and sadly marine animals often mistake the butts for food with tragic consequences.
By the number of times the word 'butts' was mentioned in that paragraph, I think you might have an inkling of where this is headed...
The team at British Naturism have agreed to back this campaign and give us the edge we need in order to grab the attention of the media and the public. Our 'No Butts on the Beach' campaign is to have promotional photographs taken on Brighton naturist beach this Saturday (10.00am), and I wonder if you might be able to bare all and add your 'butt' to our line up? That many letters require at least 10 willing bare bums (one letter per cheek!) and we are short on confirmed attendees at the moment!
Emma Snowden, copied in here, has coordinated the photo shoot, make up artist, hired the large novelty cigarette butt & is coordinating press - all you would need to do is confirm that you can come on the day and lend your support! If you have any questions or can help us, please ring Emma on 01989 561590.
If you know of any other naturists who might be able to help, please forward this email onto them.
Thanks for your help,
Katherine

In The Buff is a community site, which aims to promote the naturist cause. Members are a friendly community of natursts, that enjoy practising naturism either at home, on the beach, on holiday, or anywhere the fancy takes them. They may have been naturists for a week, a year, or their whole life. What brings all the naturists here together is the fun and friendship.
