Hide and Peek!

It was as a result of a conversation with Jackie that I decided to visit Stapleford Woods this afternoon. I finshed work at 2.15pm (do I detect a note of jealousy amoung the Buffers???) and the weather was beautiful so off I set.  I avoided the main car park and found a somewhat pot-holed ride and drove gingerly along it until I found a suitable place to park. What a heavenly place - no sound except from the movement of invisible birds somewhere in the treetops.  I wandered into the woods a little further then got my kit off and enjoyed the still summery air and the brush of minute insects as I strolled along.  I found a clearing in the middle of which was a tree stump which provided support for my camera - I've posted a couple of pics in my gallery.  Then I heard the first car.....I spotted it through the trees as it went past and two minutes later came back again. It had a one, male driver. I wandered a tad further and heard the second car!  I kept to the cover provided by trees since I had no intention of giving a heart attack to some sensitive lady but, again, it was a lone male driver who drove past, turned round and drove back again.  I found a large log, sat down, lit a ciggie (using a portable ashtray, I might add - I didn't want to start a major conflagration!) and continued to enjoy the rest and quiet.  And then I heard the third car!! Another bloody lone male driver who drove past, turned round and drove back. By now I was beginning to wonder if I'd happened upon some kind of cruising ground.  I got my kit on (except for my tee shirt - it was still far too warm to put that on) and wandered back to the car.  On the way I walked by three cars, each containing a lone male and each giving me a winsome smile as I sauntered casually by!! So what started as a plan to spend a good hour in the buff ended up being little more than 15 minutes - including the cabaret!
