Should BN be campaigning for more naturist beaches?

In another thread tpebop wrote: What is needed are more official beaches in the UK. I'm not convinced that this is necessarily true. Before shouting at me for suggesting that we should not have more beaches, ask yourself whether by creating more "official" beaches we actually get more space we can use or do we by implication make unofficial locations look more inappropriate or even illegal? When I first started using beaches nude I was all for having more beaches designated and inland areas as well, however the more I think about that the more it feels that this would simply be an extension of the club approach. I have nothing against clubs, but while the members stay behind their hedges they are doing nothing to normalise social nudity and if anything the fact that they give the impression that they think what they are doing is somehow wrong. So, should BN campaign for more beaches or should they be working harder at the nude acceptance mandate they had at an AGM back in 1998 (I think that was the year). For example should BN work on educating our legal front line (the police) about the legal position regarding nudity? Opinions anyone? Have fun, Ian.
