BN

Well I suppose I am finally legitimate! I've now explored the previously "secret" sections of the BN website and read the magazine from cover to cover so I thought I'd share my brief first impressions. Firstly the website. For a site that seems to have cost an awful lot of money, I really do not think they have got good value. The site is rather bland in design and I don't find the members' section particularly user friendly nor exciting. The history section was interesting but confusingly written in places. Neither can I find any details of my "local" beach at Theddlethorpe near Mablethorpe, unofficial though I know it is. The magazine I've read cover to cover. In the main it was well put together but rather populist to the detriment of information about the campaigning activities of BN. And just who is this John Paine person and why is he still involved? As for the Commercial Manager - I wouldn't be in his shoes for love nor money. What a stoic chap he must be to have to put up with the flack that has been directed his way over the past months. I get the distinct impression that the "re-birth" of BN is very much down to him as he struggles to pull the organisation into the 21st Century. As to the likely impact BN will have on the acceptance of naturism in general - I have my doubts. I suspect that if we asked a hundred people what BN was, 99 of them would have no idea. Unless, of course, you did the poll on Studland Beach! I look forward to the big surprise which is presently under wraps. A good cliff-hanger always helps keep the interest up, doesn't it! :) ..
