... I ought to be working but somehow blogging is so much more fun! I originally plunged into adult dating sites a couple of months ago because, after seven years of celibacy, I had begun to feel that something was missing.
Almost immediately I discovered that I was not going to meet anyone this way. First the sites were set up very expertly to separate the gullible from their money and secondly one didn't need second sight to realise that the gorgeous brunette walking naked down a street was not from Northampton - all the cars had Czech licence plates and were driving on the wrong side of the road (perhaps a possibility in Northampton, I don't know).
The chat rooms were something else! I won't dwell on them because I can't - I think if one put chimps on the computer they'd make more intelligent comments.
But, the AFF blogs! All human life was there. A handful are world-class writers, brilliant, witty and incredibly human. A great thrill to get drawn into that community and I quickly got hooked and abandoned dating dreams.
Then I discovered NudistFriends, who let you see people's profiles, and thought it might lead to something. Again, I didn't get to meet anyone though one nice couple did say they'd like to get to know me better and several men expressed an interest in my profile. I chatted with some people and perhaps something may come of it - but one outcome was a recommendation to try ITB and so I arrived here!
I've only been on ITB for a few days but several people added welcoming comments to my intro and I'm hopeful that I might meet up with some people who share my enthusiasm for being naked whenever possible. I went to Spielplatz on Sunday - everyone else seemed to know each other so it was a nice day out, but lonely. Went to Rio's naturist night last night having posted a hook-up. Really weird: everyone was wrapped in towels!
I'd love to get to know some real people but I guess that is, as they say, in my dreams. So, I'm blogging, which is a whole heap of fun (for me, at least).
