It seems to us that the chat option on this social networking site is surperfluos to requirements, of the total number of members on the site I think we have a handful of regulars. I understand people chat on MSN, Yahoo etc and to their friends, but as a social network site we should be working as a team for a common goal. I think we need to take a vote on the validity of chat in this arena as if it is not worth keeping then moneys could be spent elsewhere.
What are peoples thought, I like a good chat with a group of people in addition to one on ones I have on Instant Messengers but am not going to waste my time and effort if no one else does. Forums are a great tool to discuss issues etc but chat is more instant and I for one wopuld love to see 20 plus people in the room all having fun and chatting.
Your thoughts please.
