The 59 year old mayor of a town called Preesall, a small town in Lancashire was sentenced to 2 years in Jail, after being found guilty of nicking ladies knickers. He had been at it for quite a while and had progressed from taking them off the washing lines outside folks homes to actually entering homes and taking then from ladies underwear drawers. There was no mention in the report of what he did with them when he got them.
He was finally caught after CCTV cameras were set up in the most vunerable areas.
The case was judged so serious, that it had been sent up from Magistrates Court to Preston Crown Court for sentencing.
Two years? how long will it be before he is out of jail?
