Perhaps we should have stayed at home?

Got up a bit earlier.
On Sunday we decided to have a bit of an adventure and pop down to Wells next
the Sea (North Norfolk) where our boat is and then on to Holkham Naturist beach
a mile or so from our mooring and the car park. Despite being slightly late
getting out of bed, we decided to call in at the Cherry Tree Car Boot sale at
Fakenham, that took another hour out of the morning.
We had the £3.50 car park fee to put in the Pay and Display machine, but alas
the car park at 'Pinewoods' was filled to bursting. Same with the other car park
opposite Holkham Hall. So to console ourselves, I got my dear lady to go into
our regular Fish and Chip shop for 1 fish and 1 portion of chips; she got
charged 'Visitors' rate of £5.50 for this. She should have said 'LOCAL' and
being charged just £3.75 for the same order.
We returned home and after suitable refreshments, got back to cutting the front
hedge. We will try again for Holkham and the boat on Tuesday when things are a
bit quieter.
It is being so cheerful that keeps us going!
