Male - Female inbalance

Could the balance on websites mirror the naturist community balance?

There is and always has been a lot more men interested in naturism than women, therefore this balance would cross over onto the sites.

I wonder if your own ideas would have something to do with men only being on sites for sexual gratification or hopes of meeting some poor unsuspecting female.
Please enlighten us.

The Male/Female inbalance does seem to apply to most naturist sites, even on respected ones like naturist-corner.co.uk

As for men (At least some of them) being here just or even partially on sites for 'Sexual Graification',(Wezzzy, tells us that I seem think this is the case) ask almost any Naturist Lady, that way folks will get accurate feedback as to why so few ladies appear on sites and why some depart from sites after only a short time. Nothing like direct research.
Of course, some men seek male company, some both, so maybe males are more proactive in joining Naturist sites.

Could it be because that women are more conscious of their bodies and others opinions of this. Which should not be the case in a naturist sense. Thsi is about a lifestyle where we are not concerned about what others think.

With regards to previous comments to this topic, i feel no matter what kind of site you will always get people who are looking to get off on it, part of human nature. This fact probaly puts off single females more than couples.

His explanation is very well put. Obviously there are exceptions to the Females staying at home.

Reminds me of a time I worked up on Tyneside. Here the women have a reputation for going out in 'packs'of a night and the fellas running for cover if they are to remain safe.

Exactly, Brian, because female hunter-packs are not the norm! Even on Tyneside!

It is primeval.

Hundreds of thousands of years ago, the male would prance totally starkers through the woods and fields spearing any animal stupid enought to hang around. He would leap into waterholes and engage in naked hunting rituals with other males.

His female partner would be equally naked. However she would be largely confined to the cave, only venturing out for the occasional gathering. She was rarely publicly nude.

It is no different today. The average male, even if not nudist, cannot resist the chance to doff his togs and leap in a mud pool. He has no problem with public nudity.

His partner however, by custom drawn from her primeval counterpart, mainly gets naked only to wash, to sleep and to make love. She is more intimate.

This has been ingrained in our psyche for hundreds of millennia. We are not going to change it any time soon. So just accept it. There will always be more public nudity among males than females. It is natural.
