Joining Chat Instructions

These are VERY SIMPLE STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS on how to chat for Windows Users



1. Get the chat program by clicking on this link : http://www.jabbim.com/support-download.html



2. Now click on the link for Windows : Jabbim (normally the top link in the list)

Jabbim 0.4.3 ... the best XMPP/Jabber klient... ever.



3. This will start the download as below - Click on the SAVE option





4. It will ask you where to save as in the image below, just click SAVE





5. Wait for the download to happen as below





6. Once download is complete as below, click on the OPEN option





7. It will now run it's setup program as below, wait for it to complete





8. Once complete, agree to the GPL below, by clicking I agree





9. Next for options as below, just click NEXT





10. Next choose location as below, just click NEXT





11. Choose Folder name as below, just click INSTALL





12. Allow the install to complete as below





13. Once complete as below, click FINISH





14. Create your account, as below, complete the boxes as follows :-

In JABBER SERVER put inthebuff.co.uk (don't choose from the list or enter anything else)

In NICKNAME put the name you want to be known by eg. FredBloggs (just one word is allowed no spaces)

In PASSWORD put a password of your choice

in PASSWORD AGAIN put the same password as you put in PASSWORD

Now click REGISTER





15. Profile details as below enter your name and email, you don't have to enter your full surname, eg.

In Firstname put FRED

In Surname put B

In Email put your email or if you are concerned put a fake email eg. Fredb@yahoo.com

And choose an icon you like best

And click FINISH





16. Now you will be presented with your buddy list as below, which will be empty to start.

Now to join the chatroom, on your buddylist click Actions then Join Groupchat





17. In the group chat as below, click Browse chat rooms





18. In Browser as below, click on Naturists and click OK





19. Back in the join chat room window, click Join





Bravo you are now in the chat room
