Commiserations to PB who also got 6 but put whisk (not hand whisk) - which as the rules were the best description will determine the winner ... harsh but separated them by a hares WHISKer!

And a special mention for Bertio with his most descriptive guesses :-

1. Is either Pat or Mothers make up brush
2. A piece of toast (probably 'Nimble') popping out of the toaster.
3. Is a close up of 'press button B' from a rare Sir Giles Gilbert Scott designed 1926 K2 public telephone box. The picture was taken in 1964 hence the faint smell of pee.
4. Is the wheel from a Ficton Arms Generator
5. Is a Habitat butter knife and two telescoping low vibration pulling mechanisms.
6. Is a corkscrew opening a bottle of 2001 Balestard la Tonnelle.
7. Is a robot centipede crawling over a robot wheel tappers and shunters membership card.
