InTheBuff Second Life Resort
In The Buff's virtual resort is available free of charge to all subscribers, day passes can be purchased in world, for non subscribers. The recent move has also allowed us to increase our land area, and there are now 2 islands, hot tub, beaches, free towels, and plenty of fish in the sea. Hope to see you there.

Downloaded the programme - set up an account - chose a name - set a password - chose a body (skin colour, eyes, nose, chin, clothes ?????? 
) ......... Then got completely lost in a virtual world.
(must get my grandson to show me how to progress)
SL can be a bit confusing at first, but stick with it for awhile before you give up. I have been is SL a little while now so if anyone wants any help eith contact me here or in world. Just search for KT Merlin and say Hi.

log into Secondlife then click on the link above. That will give you the landmark. Just TP there and make it your home.
well i have tryed 6 times now to get into ITb SL with still no luck. I did the age recognition ok but it still says ''' your desired locationis not avaliable. You have been moved to a nearby region''' so what now fellow buffers Help yet again please Dave in Bristol

Dave your SL character that is on your ITB profile has got access. Have you confirmed your age to SL ? Also where is it transfering you to as that is often a good indication ?

What miffed me about SL was I looked physically the same as I do in RL! Good grief!
It took me ages to find the right attachment and, guess what, yes, it was x-rated! So I got an extra arm instead and wore it on my chest for a while! Sigh!
Haven't been in for over 8 months, what with being too busy, too injured, too lazy; you name it!
Now my home PC has packed in for 3 months! I need a Third Life !!!!!! LOL!

You will find most people are willing to help new people. There are also help guides and mentors are available in world to help. The best way is to just have a go and explore and just have fun.

It is unfortunate that you are sleeping when we are playing. There were 8 of us enjoying the chat room a couple of evenings ago and several evenings recently, there have been a few in chat.
Maybe 2nd Life is not so popular yet but again the time difference is no help.

One Life - Live It
Decided to stay in the real world. not quite the fun experience i had expected.
I first joined Secondlife on the 7th April 2007, so it will soon be my 3rd birthday or rezz day as its called in Secondlife. Its changed quite a bit since then with less crashes and better graphics the main ones. Secondlife can be a bit daunting at first and I admit I nearly gave up after a few weeks. I then got use to moving around and exploring. There are many places to visit including beaches and clubs. My favourite thing though is meeting people. I now have many friends from all over the world, both naturist and non naturist. I now make and sell items giving me a small income from Secondlife. I enjoy Secondlife very much. I enjoy doing things in Secondlife that I cant do in real life for whatever reason.
If anyone needs any help with Secondlife or wants to ask anything about it. Please feel free to contact me and ask either in world on through In The Buff.
