eureka

Hi i used to be a regular at Eureka from about 94 up to a few years ago. One of the reasons i stopped going was that it had become rundown and its future was not clear . I have just viewed the website for it and it clearly has had a lot done , it looks stunning . It will be back on my list of places to go again !! . Had some good days (and nights ) there in my camper van. Rob.

Leysdown

It's my "local" too.
Peejay is right the people there are friendly and there are a number of regulars that I see on my occasional visits there. Don't be put off by the mud when the tide is in it's fine. When it's out it's a very long walk and so shallow at the end you won't get a swim anyway!

Not sure I'd agree with the numbers on the opening description, I don't get there often, usually when I do it is a good weather day and i doubt if more then 50 naturists are there.

Leysdown Beach

I visited Leysdown beach a few times in the short summer of 2007. The dirt track to the beach is not too bad as long as you drive very slowly. There were quite a few people there and I found them very friendly. A lot of them were camping there and had been there a few days. I was advised not to go into the sea as the sand tuned to mud a few yards out but it didn't stop other people from going into the sea. There was a constant flow of non naturists walking along the beach but they didn't seem to notice or care that there were naturists on the beach. It was nice and peaceful and I had a great time every time I went there.

is it all naturist?

visited eureka on sunday28th may, my first impressions were of a mixed nature, the steam room, saunna and hot tub had not been turned on and the majority of clients and staff in the main reception/club room were textile. Overal though the staff seemed quite friendly (mind you I had just parted with £20).
The outdoor pol is good though there were not many loungers out.
People again seemed friendly allthough again some people were still textile. Baring in mind it was not a very warm day (around 17-18degrees) it would be interesting to visit eureka on a boiling hot summers day.

to earlly to leave at 5-30pm!

visited bristol gardens health spa but could only stay for just over 2hours.
unfortunately sunday evening is couples only after 6 pm so all un-attactched singles have to leave- the same applies to saturday evenings.
It's quite a good atmosphere here with plenty of wet/dry facilities.
some single men seem to hang around the'rest area' where by the sounds of things females get pleasured on a regular basis.
on the sunday of my visit when talking to regular male visiters it seemed that females were in a short supply on that particular day, however couples were arriving in quite a steady stream after 5-0pm.
will deffinately visit bghs again.
by the way there seems to be enough parking places around the area.
keep bare!

Bristol Gardens Health Spa

Hello...

I just had to add a comment to Bristol Gardens Health Spa....

I thoroughly recommend that if you have not paid them a visit yet, YOU MUST !! ITS FANTASTICAL.... x

What an extremely friendly and scrupulously clean Health Spa it is... My husband and I have been here many times together and have over the years have made many new
friends...

If you are looking for sleeze and grime, you WON'T find it here !!!!

However, if you are looking for a place to totally unwind amongst friends, check it out..

You won't be disappointed..

I hope that I haven't spoken out of term, but I just had to express my thanks to you.

Julie & Paul

xx
