Hi Kevin, you certainly have my sympathy, its so frustrating when something like that happens. Your left with the cost of the evening, never mind the additional expense of the new clutch, and none of the pleasures. Better luck next time.

Well we got as far as High Wycombe when the car started misbehaving. Called out the RAC, the (expletive deleted) clutch needs replacing! We've now been recovered and are back home again.

Too late to cancel the hotel, far too late to get to Stoke. Bugger it!

Well I'm going to drown my sorrows. I hope everyone else has a great time, I'm really sorry I can't be with you tonight. Hopefully we'll have better luck in September.
