Pat Thompson was returned as President unopposed Angela Russell was returned as Regional Representative (Midland) unopposed No candidates were nominated for the post of Youth Officer and the EC now have the power to co-opt No candidates were nominated for the post of Regional Representative (Yorkshire). The region have selected John Wymark-Hoar as their representative No candidates were nominated for the post of Regional Representative (Scotland and North East Region (SANER)). The President's Awards: Achievement awards: Lifestyle Press (Mike Charles and Nick Mayhew-Smith) - for their work in making the book "Bare Britain" a reality Jim Russell, BN Sports Officer - for his work and effort in running sports and other events around the country Angela Russell, Midland Region Representative - for her work in the region and nationally, including assisting in running sports and other events around the country David Broome of the Singles Outdoor Club (SOC) - for his work in running the swim event at WaterMeadows in Mansfield for the last 14 years. SOC recently celebrated their 50th swim night at the venue. Kevin Murphy for work in long distance swimming Ian and Barbara Pollard of Abbey House Gardens - for having the foresight to organise their clothing-optional day
Club of the Year: Blackthorns - for successfully overcoming their internal issues of a few years ago and continuing to promote themselves and grow. Watford Naturist Swimming Club were a close second for the award. The club has taken great leaps forward in promoting itself this year - including taking a stall at a local market - and contributes large numbers of people to the BN national swimming team.
