HowTo : Chat With GAIM messenger

1. Download the GAIM messenger client from by clicking on one of the following options:
For the latest test version use : http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gaim/gaim-2.0.0beta3.exe?download
For a stable well known release use : http://www.inthebuff.co.uk/buff06/chat/gaim/gaim-1.5.0.exe

2. Choose any of the locations to Download from

3. Save the file to your Desktop

4. Open the File from the desktop

5. Choose your Language :

6. Begin the installation

7. Choose a folder to install the GAIM Messenger in – Recommended is to choose a folder in “My Documents”

8.Run the GAIM Messenger

9. Now add an Account

10. Enter the details as shown here – using a username of your choice and password of your choice

    NOTE : IF you have not logged in before to chat click REGISTER

    If it says you are already registered try a slightly different username

12. Now you have logged in “Join the Chat”

13. Enter the details as shown

14. Get Chatting
